Cut the pork into small, bite-sized pieces. Season the pork with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the cooked pork from the skillet and set aside.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the same skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the cooked white rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with your spatula. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, allowing some of the rice grains to crisp slightly.

Push the rice to one side of the skillet, creating an empty space. Crack the egg into the empty space and quickly scramble it until just set. Once scrambled, mix the egg into the rice.
