Classic Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Chicken

"Succulent pan-seared chicken breasts bathed in a rich, aromatic garlic butter sauce. Simple yet incredibly flavorful, perfect for a quick and elegant weeknight meal."
Ingredients
All Steps
- 1
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C). Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate, tented with foil to keep warm.
- 3
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- 4
Return the chicken to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken breasts, coating them thoroughly.
- 5
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
