One-Pan Creamy Beef and Tomato Pasta

"A comforting and quick one-pan pasta dish featuring seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, and a rich, creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a weeknight meal with minimal cleanup."
Ingredients
All Steps
Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Chop the yellow onion and mince the garlic. Add them to the skillet with the beef and cook until the onion is softened, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
Add the uncooked penne pasta to the skillet, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Remove from heat. Stir in the heavy cream. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
