Stir-fried Ginger Soy Chicken with Broccoli

"A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and a savory ginger-soy sauce. Perfect for a weeknight meal."
Ingredients
All Steps
- 1
Slice chicken breast into thin strips. In a bowl, toss chicken with 15ml soy sauce and 5g cornstarch. Set aside.
- 2
Grate ginger and mince garlic. Cut broccoli into florets and thinly slice the carrot.
- 3
In a small bowl, whisk together remaining soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and water to create the stir-fry sauce.
- 4
Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- 5
Add broccoli florets and sliced carrots to the same pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- 6
Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the vegetables. Give the stir-fry sauce a quick whisk again and pour it over the chicken and vegetables.
- 7
Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly.
- 8
Serve immediately, optionally over rice.
