Speedy Beef and Bell Pepper Stir-fry

"A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef strips and crisp bell peppers, perfect for a weeknight meal for two."
Ingredients
All Steps
Slice beef into thin strips against the grain. In a medium bowl, combine beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, and 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil. Toss to coat and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Slice bell peppers and onion into thin strips. Mince garlic.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything together and cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through and well combined.
Serve immediately, ideally with steamed rice.
